Have you ever wondered what life would be like after you leave your professional career? Play more golf or tennis? Do more shopping? Travel? Yes but! What else?
Having spent years working in corporate America, while being both mother and wife, I decided to have more ‘me’ time and retired. I loved volunteering for Rotary. I was busy with many wonderful projects both locally and internationally; held leadership positions in my club and District, which were very rewarding, but something was still missing.
If you’re like me you have a hobby. Mine is embellishing clothes with bling! Several of my friends asked me to make clothes for them. That’s when it happened!
I found what was missing; the passion to start a business.
Long story short. I did what was required to be in production and created a business. After months of due diligence and hard work, Qtpi Creations became a reality.
Yes, finding that missing something can be very rewarding. We have wonderful customers, and am able to give back to Rotary, as a percentage of each item sold goes to Rotary International. You might just find a little bling design that you “have-to-have” while helping Rotary’s good work.
